The sun has already set on the days we made those choices. We must concentrate on what we can do tomorrow; we can’t relive yesterday.
- work/alcohol/sleeping pills/gym pretty much consumed my life
- work- not what I would call a labor of love, but gets the loans paid and most importantly my own INSURANCE! M-F/9-6 plus commute could be a major killer, yet I can’t complain unemployment is sky rocketing and I am fortunate to have a full time job during this terrible economy.
- alcohol- don’t register me for AA just yet. There’s been weeks when i’d go out after work every night vs. weeks where I don’t touch an once of that liquid. So I guess you can say it pretty much balances out.
- sleeping pills- my new BFF. Been having problems sleeping a lot lately and thank goodness for Melatonin (natural sleeping aid) helps me drift to dream land quick, easy, and painless.
- gym- there are very few things that can get the endorphins pumping and going to the gym is one of them. I just recently started Kettlebell Kickboxing… and ladies if you want an amazing workout this is definitely IT!
2. crazy escapades where it led to…
- a personal belonging never being returned
- coming to the conclusion that for serious dating prospects they must be 27+
- hangovers
- drunk dials/texts/vm
- making some of life’s finest memories
3. booked a flight back to the motherland aka CHINA
- beijing/shanghai
- let’s hope my Chinese hasn’t gone to shame
4. making moves
- keeping the fingers crossed that i’ll finally be able to spread the wings and fly from the nest before the end of the year.
- jersey city/hoboken/nyc-ues-bk-queens… let the hunt begin
So after taking a 4 months long vacay from tumblr I thought it was time i’d come back unpack all the adventures i’ve had during that time and finally start to revive this blog back to life.
